Our story
Robbkontrol Ltd. was founded by dr. Tibor Szabó, former associate professor at the Institute of Petroleum and Natural Gas of the University of Miskolc in 2008, which he has been running ever since. We mainly provide services for explosion prevention, explosion protection, education, project management, documentation and other expert activities. We have been dealing with fire protection and occupational safety that are intrinsically linked to explosion protection since 2017. In 2023, we have further expanded our professional competence in these areas with colleagues with authority and fire investigation experience.
Founded company
Dr. Tibor Szabó establishes Robbkontrol Ltd. Initially, the company's activities include explosion protection, blowout prevention, mine safety training, and explosion protection projects.
ISO 9001
With the expansion of the organization starting at the end of 2015, the standardization of service processes becomes possible, followed by the acquisition of ISO 9001 certification in 2016.
Fire protection and OHS
As a result of organizational development and recognizing market needs, the service portfolio begins to expand with the introduction of fire safety and later work safety services.
600th project
In just under a decade, the 600th successful project is completed (counting from the beginning of 2016).
